Purgatorium Part Five: Bookapa-Wowsers Bookapalooza, November 19th was supposed to be our launch date for Purgatorium. Instead, ID Press set up a small display with copies of the second print run, and gave the rest of the table to Myth Hawker Travelling Bookstore, my other, other sideline venture. 11/21/2016

Purgatorium, Part Four: Out of Purgatory So, to get you up to speed: we get the stories, we edit the stories, we order copies, we discover the wrong version of a story has been printed, we fix the issue and order more copies, and discover so many more errors that we cannot launch nor sell this book. We're all feeling low. I didn't know it at the time, but my flu had ebbed, leaving behind a nice case of bronchitis. Did I mention all four of us also have day jobs? 11/18/2016

Purgatorium, Part Three: Eddie's Curse Yvonne Hess is an excellent writer and a beautiful person, inside and out. But I'm telling you, one of her two main characters had it out for me, and by extension, ID Press and Purgatorium. 11/18/2016

Purgatorium, Part Two: Alchemy Fast forward to June, 2016. For the most part, all the contributors had completed their substantive edits, and we were ready to move forward with line edits. I offered to do that, since I was a "cold reader". Connie, Tobin, and Dale had all read the stories at least once before, if not multiple times. I had the advantage of fresh eyes. 11/18/2016

Purgatorium, Part One: The Element of What Now? Purgatorium has its very own story arc. Heroes, villains, jinxes, plagues...Well, maybe not that far, but it definitely has a story of its own. 11/18/2016
